When it comes to sustainable closure design, CSI has led the industry with sustainable materials development and lightweight closure designs. Our PolyCycle® closure for Dasani was the Winner of the 2020 Caps & Closures Innovation Award at the Plastics News’ Plastics Caps & Closures annual conference.
Don’t just take our word for it, either: Besides passing CSI’s internal tests with flying colors, PolyCycle® PCR resin recently received a certification from GreenCircle, an external third-party auditor. The certification confirms that PolyCycle® contains post-consumer recycled content. Closure Systems International Inc. is now included on GreenCircle’s “Brands You Can Trust” list as a result of receiving this certification.
Because of these improvements over traditional virgin plastic closures, PolyCycle® closures support CSI customers in achieving their sustainability goals. PolyCycle’s® post-consumer recycled content will enable customers to comply with packaging requirements legislation, such as the California SB 54 bill, and extended producer responsibility requirements.
