DECEMBER 6, 2012 – INDIANAPOLIS, IN USA – Lotte Liquor.BG Co., Ltd. has adopted Closure Systems International’s (CSI’s) lightweight AS-Lok mini 28mm closures for their popular Soju line of Korean liquors. Available in both 600ml and 1.8L PET bottles, Lotte offers several varieties of Soju, all rich in natural minerals. By converting to CSI’s AS-Lok mini 28mm closure system designed especially for PET 1881 short-height bottle finishes, Lotte Soju liquor packages are now more environmentally friendly and cost efficient.
Lotte is dedicated to developing and manufacturing products that reflect the constantly evolving needs of customers. Lotte has recognized the growing importance of sustainability in today’s marketplace, and CSI is pleased to have been selected to partner with Lotte to address this need. Raw material reductions in both the bottle finish and the closure have yielded significant environmental and economic sustainability benefits. In addition to providing high performing, lightweight closures, CSI’s expert technical service team worked with Lotte personnel to ensure that the conversion to short height closures was trouble-free and efficient.
AS-Lok mini 28mm is a one-piece linerless, tamper evident closure, ideal for liquor and other non-carbonated beverages, including aseptically-filled beverages. For further product information, please contact:
